Architectural Standards

Architectural Deed Restrictions

West Bay Deed Restriction, Article VI (Architectural Control), Section 1 (Authority):
Improvements, construction, painting or exterior alterations must be approved by the Architectural Committee.

West Bay Deed Restriction, Article VI (Architectural Control), Section 2 (Procedure):
A Property Modification Request Form must be filled out with plans and specifications and submitted to Rampart Properties for review by the Architectural Committee.

West Bay Deed Restriction, Article II (Property Rights), Section 14 (Fences):
Fences are required to adhere to the fence specifications in Exhibit A of the deed restrictions.

West Bay Deed Restriction, Article II (Property Rights), Section 16 (Mailboxes):
Mailboxes are required to adhere to the standard mailbox design in Exhibit A of the deed restrictions.

 

Architecture Policy

Fences
Fences are required to be wood shadowbox and adhere to the fence illustrations on pages 24-26 (Exhibit A page 1-3) of the deed restrictions.  A Property Modification Request Form must be submitted.

Mailboxes
Mailboxes and mailbox posts are required to adhere to mailbox design illustration on page 27 (Exhibit A page 4) of the deed restrictions. Mailboxes must be painted white. A Property Modification Request Form must be submitted.

Painting
House painting requires using colors in the approved color book kept at Rampart Properties. Even if a house is being repainted the original color, the colors must be approved because the colors in the color book are updated periodically to add and remove colors. A Property Modification Request Form must be submitted with color samples.

Cement & Pavers
Installing cement or pavers requires Architectural Committee approval. A Property Modification Request Form must be submitted.

Pools & Screened Enclosures
Installing pools and screened enclosures requires Architectural Committee approval. A Property Modification Request Form must be submitted with modification plans on a plot survey.

Screen\Storm Doors
The following screen\storm doors have been approved by the Architectural Committee but a Property Modification Request Form must still be submitted:
